Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Service Coordinator will provide high level customer service in their interactions (phone, counter, e-mail, etc) with students and their family members. Provide specific financial aid information pertaining to a student's account as well as communicate University and Federal policy and procedure. Troubleshoot problems that students may have and refer issues to appropriate personnel. Also the position is responsible for the processing of all incoming student documentation and e-mail. The representative will work form 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Thursday and 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday.

Requirements:
Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of Associate's degree or its equivalent required. Two to three years of office environment experience, preferably in higher education. Must have strong, written, verbal and telephone communication skills and be highly organized. Ability to work well with students, staff other college representatives and the public with a commitment to customer service. Computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to effectively use a computer to data enter and screen query in Datatel Colleague system.

Additional Information:
Grade: 8 Salary Range: $32,088-$44,281
