The Ambassador Program is an initiative from the Massachusetts Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (MASFAA) sponsored by the Public Relations committee.
Under the Ambassador Program, new MASFAA members will have the opportunity to be paired with a seasoned MASFAA member for the purpose of introduction to MASFAA, its benefits, opportunities, as well as other members.
Some of the benefits of the program:
To New Members:
Introduction to and augment awareness of MASFAA and its
opportunities as well as the prospect of introduction to other aid
professionals, providing the opportunity to establish and expand
personal MASFAA contact network as well as enhance career
consideration options.
To Volunteer Ambassadors:
Professional affiliation activity.
Opportunity to meet new people.
A low time commitment volunteer opportunity.
To Institutions:
MASFAA membership will increase employees commitment to the
profession as well as knowledge of financial aid regulatory and industry
issues through professional development, training and social networking
opportunities.
To MASFAA:
Increased MASFAA membership and exposure to individuals who might
otherwise not become familiar with what MASFAA offers.
Possibility of a larger, more active membership.
