MASFAA Invited to Participate in White House Reach Higher Initiative

This week, MASFAA was one of a select group invited to be part of the White House Reach Higher initiative to help more Massachusetts students attend post-secondary education. President, Kathy Anderson attended the meeting on behalf of MASFAA to help accomplish President Barack Obama’s North Star goal for the United States to regain the number one position in the world for the number of 24-35 year olds who possess a bachelor’s degree. The group invited to participate has been asked to mobilize other school counselors, school districts, institutions of higher education, community based organizations, state educational associations, members of the business community, policy makers, funders, and researchers to gather pledges to the Reach Higher initiative.  More about the Reach Higher Initiative can be found here.
